After Lately
Tonight is going to surprise us, with the season premier of Celebrity Apprentice and the series premier of After Lately, it's either going to be really good or just really, really bad.
  • On CBS at 8/7c, a new episode of The Amazing Race: Unfinished Business.
  • On ABC at 9/8c, a Desperate Housewives episode that perfectly coincides with ABC's ongoing contract negations with the wives of Wisteria Lane. One wife will even learn that if she doesn't get a new kidney she'll die, what a coincidence.
  • On NBC at 9/8c, the erroneously titled Celebrity Apprentice makes it's return with "celebrities" including Gary Busey, La Toya Jackson, Star Jones, David Cassidy and Richard Hatch.
  • On HBO at 9/8c, one of the few remaining episodes of Big Love.
  • On E! at 11/10c, the premier episode of the new reality/comedy show After Lately, about working on that other comedy show Chelsea Lately.

Friday was a winner for some, and a big loser for others. CBS did great with Medium and CSI: NY, and ABC got away clean with 20/20. On the other hand, NBC's night sucked, with both A Walk in My Shoes (a made for TV movie) and Dateline preforming poorly.

Caprica Marathon in January

3:10 PM Posted by DarknessFalls

Now that the Syfy Caprica fan wars have cooled down, Syfy has released details about how Caprica will be ending it's run here in the United States. Syfy's Craig Engler just tweeted from the @Syfy account that Syfy will air Caprica's final five episodes in a marathon on Tuesday, January 4th, from 6 to 11 pm.

The airdate information for #Caprica's final 5 episodes has been confirmed: They will air back-to-back on Tues, Jan 4, from 6pm-11pm

This doesn't exactly seem like the ending Caprica deserves, but it's good to know that the episodes are going to air. It looks like Caprica will be getting a send off, even if it's a humble one.

Conan O’Brien Doesn't Get the Last Laugh

3:38 PM Posted by DarknessFalls

TVbytheNumbers is reporting that both Nightline on ABC and reruns of the Late Show with David Letterman on CBS have beat out new episodes of The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien in total viewers.

Maybe NBC should have considered this before retiring Jay Leno.
